The Registration Fee (the Admission Fee) is charged in the initial year only. One half of the Admission Fee is charged to graduates of Doshisha University or Doshisha graduate schools.

Doshisha University offers a variety of scholarships to enable international students to concentrate on their studies free from financial concerns.

Amount of Scholarship	Equivalent to full amount of the tuition　：　20％ of international students
	￥310,000　：　40％ of international students
	￥190,000　：　40％ of international students
Duration of Scholarship	2 years ※ Two years after admission (renewable for up to the standard number of years required for graduation for students who meet certain standards of academic performance).

Purpose	This program aims to support students enrolled in Master's, Doctoral or Integrated Doctoral Degree Program who are experiencing difficulty meeting educational costs to continue their academic research activities.
Type	Non-repayable scholarship
Amount	Half the amount of the tuition (out of the total school fees)

Purpose	The Purpose of this scholarship is to support young researchers who hold future promise and display a strong passion toward academic research. The scholarship covers doctoral program school fees and is in principle awarded to all qualified students in each graduate school unless these exceed scholarship availability. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of recommendations from the graduate schools and cannot be applied for individually.

Amount	Amount equivalent to annual school fees （including the Admission Fee at the time of enrollment, the Tuition, the Facilities Fee）
Award Period	The scholarship is awarded for a period of one year. However, the award period may be extended based on screening and provided it does not exceed the standard program duration (three years) .
Eligible Students	Students with a passion for academic research who have received a recommendation from one of the graduate schools and match the following profiles. Students enrolled in doctoral program at the Graduate School of Global Studies, who are aiming to acquire a doctoral degree, and were under 34 years of age at the time of admission. Where age is specified as a condition, it refers to the age on the day of admission.
