About Conferring Diplomas of Global Studies

Dear Fellow Degree Grantors,

The award assembly of diplomas and other certificates by the Graduate School of Global Studies will be held according to the following schedule.
From the viewpoint of preventing the spread of the infectious novel coronavirus, only degree grantors will be allowed to attend. Please inform your guardian about this restriction. In addition, other students are also prohibited to visit school on this day.
Please cooperate leaving school promptly as soon as after the assembly ends.

・Ph.D. (All Clusters) Degree Grantors
Start:3/21(Sat) 10 am~(open from 9:45 am) 
Place:SK118, Karasuma Campus
・Master’s (American Studies Cluster) Degree Grantors
Start:3/21(Sat) 11 am~(open from 10:45 am) 
Place:SK112, Karasuma Campus

・Master’s (Contemporary Asian Studies Cluster) Degree Grantors
Start:3/21(Sat) 1pm~(open from 0:45 pm) 
Place:SK118, Karasuma Campus

・Master’s(Global Society Studies Cluster) Degree Grantors
Start:3/21(Sat) 2 pm~(open from 1:45 pm) 
Place:SK112, Karasuma Campus

※If you cannot participate at the scheduled time above, please inform the Global Studies Office (ji-gs@mail.doshisha.ac.jp) by March 13th, Friday.


<Precautions regarding the ceremony>
・If you have a cold, fever or any other respiratory symptoms, please refrain from participating.
Arrangement to receive your dilpoma by postal mail is available.
・Those who have returned from a country (that has announced the spread of the novel corona virus) within 2 weeks must not attend the ceremony. Please arrange to receive your diploma by postal mail.
・Guardians and other (current) students are not allowed to attend the ceremony due to health and safety aspects.
・To prevent the spread of the novel corona virus, please wash your hands constantly and wear your mask.
We provide sterilizers in various places in the building, so please feel free to spray them on your hands.
・Please refrain from staying in the room for a long period of time after you receive your diploma.
