【Important】Notice of Change of Submission Method AY 2020 Fall Semester Master's Thesis/Research Paper

In order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, the Graduate School of Global Studies has decided to change the submission method as follows.

■For second year master students and above

◎Change of method to submit "Master's thesis or Research paper"
(For those who plan to complete in March 2021)
(Refer to the Student Handbook p.140~)

<Submissions>
①Cover ②Abstract ③Table of Contents ④Thesis (Body text) ⑤Reference
⑥1 Sheet of Bookbinding fee payment certificate (4,840 Yen; Sold at the automatic certificate issuing machine at Shikokan 1st floor)

<How to submit>
1.Please send by post mail or bring in 1 copy of the files from ① to ⑤ to the GS Graduate School Office. If you submit by mail, it must arrive by Wednesday, January 20th, and if you wish to turn it in by hand, please complete the submission by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 20th.


2.Please attach the PDF data of ①~⑤ to the e-mail and send it to the GS Graduate School Office by Wednesday, January 20th, 17:00 (JST).
The email title must state "Master's thesis (or Research paper) submission:
Your name" and make sure to add your academic advisor to CC. (If the volume is too large to attach to an email, please contact the office.)

※Please note that the submission is completed when both 1 and 2 are done.
Regarding ⑥, if you come to our campus, please bring ⑥ with other required documents. If you send the required documents by post mail, you can pay the bookbinding fee by transfer. We will let the applicable person know how to transfer the fee after we receive all required documents.

<Notes>
・When binding, the office will print the submitted PDF data based on the submission and send it to the bookbinder, but this time only. Also, before submitting PDF data, be sure to confirm that there is no discrepancy in the original and the contents to be submitted. The office does not collate the original with the PDF data. The office will not be held responsible for any differences between the originals submitted for binding and the printed materials in the office.

・Oral examinations may be conducted using an online conference system (ZOOM, etc.) depending on the situation.
