Profile
I am interested in exploring the post-war history
of international relations from a perspective beyond Europe and North America.
While the Cold War between the U.S. and the Soviet Union undoubtedly played a
significant role in shaping global relations, it is also important to recognize
the contributions of various actors within each region. These include not only
states and governments, but also non-state actors such as citizens. I aim to
avoid focusing solely on a specific country or two, while still considering the
unique context of each nation involved.
Message to students
During your time as students, I encourage you to explore a wide range of research and materials without overly limiting your research methods or subjects. I believe that increasing the number of hooks in your research is essential for developing independence.
